Leadership Team
Andy Holmes: President
Andy is a founding member of Five Hole Hockey. He oversees all functions of our organization, develops new opportunities, and expands our relationships in the hockey world. Andy holds degrees from Montana State University and The Pennsylvania State University. His extensive knowledge of the game coupled with his personable, professional, player-first approach is a tremendous asset to our players and their families.
Andy is a USA Hockey certified Level 4 coach. He has served as an instructor for The Goalie Academy for over 15 years, coached youth hockey at both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels, spent 5 seasons scouting in the USHL and assisted a variety of junior hockey clubs in scouting and advisory capacities over the years. He is a former goaltender, whose playing experience includes D1 prep school hockey at Choate, junior hockey in the BCHL, AWHL, MNJHL, WSHL and a minor-pro stint with the Quad City Mallards of the UHL.
Jaime Holmes: Vice President
Jaime is a founding member of Five Hole Hockey. Jaime’s role is to oversee and coordinate all of the logistical and administrative aspects of our programs and services. She has a wealth of experience in aligning the hockey specific needs of our organization with the needs of our players, parents, and coaches. While much of Jaime’s work is behind the scenes, she plays an integral part in our organization, and we all benefit from her efforts. Jaime attended the University of Colorado and Montana State University.
Coaches
Chris Blaisuis: Team Five Hole Hockey
Chris has been a part of Five Hole Hockey since our start in 2006. He is a veteran coach who brings a deep knowledge base, development oriented attitude and passion for the game to our team. He has coached at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 youth levels, Junior level, and ACHA college level. His playing background includes junior as well as minor pro hockey in the CHL, ECHL, and SPHL. As a coach and scout, Chris has worked in US Junior Hockey with the Tri-City Storm, Omaha Lancers, Lonestar Brahmas, Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Kenai River Brown Gears, Wilmar Warhawks, and Minnesota Ice Hawks. During that time, Chris was part of 2 National Championship teams with Fairbanks and has helped to bring many players into and develop within these organizations that have gone on to play NCAA and professional hockey.
Joe Keyser: Team Five Hole Hockey
Joe is in his second year as a coach with us and is from Craysville, NY. He is a tremendous asset to our team and brings a wealth of hockey experience and knowledge. Joe is a former Five Hole Hockey Select Prospects Camp participant who knows our organization, its mission, and principals well. Joe played junior hockey in both the U.S. and Canada before going on to play NCAA college hockey at New England College. Additionally, Joe has also worked as an instructor for The Goalie Academy. In addition to his on ice responsibilities, Joe will be working with all of the Team Five Hole Hockey goaltenders as well as all our players in helping to educate them in the areas of off ice training, nutrition, and mental preparation. We are proud to have him as a camp alum and as part of our hockey family.
Brad Denney: Team Five Hole Hockey
Bradis from Indianapolis, IN and has been a part of our staff going back to our days of running Prospects Camps. Prior to that he was a participant in those camps. Brad knows our organization, our core values and philosophy well. He is a development oriented coach with a highly personable coaching style which relates extremely well to our players. Brad is currently entering his 6th season of professional hockey playing defense for the Danville Dashers. His playing experience includes junior hockey in the NAHL, NCAA collegiate hockey at St. Mary’s University, and professional stops in the ECHL, FHL, and SPHL. Brad will work with all of our Team Five Hole Hockey players while focusing on our defensemen.
Don Kunkel: Team Five Hole Hockey& Future Stars Clinics
Don hails from NJ where he grew up in playing both defense and goalie. He assists with the Team Five Hole program as his schedule allows and also instructs in our Future Stars programs. Don’s playing career included playing at the junior level as well as playing some professional hockey in the ECHL and FHL. He has an excellent eye for talent as well as a down to earth teaching style. His ability to teach the game and relate to young players is a great asset to our team..
Drew Swigert Future Start Goalie Clinics
Drew is from Central PA and has been involved with our organization since his playing days. He is another alum of our Prospects Camps. Drew’s playing experience includes junior hockey as well as ACHA D1 collegiate hockey. A former goalie, his coaching specializes in working with goaltenders. Drew has been an instructor with us since our fist goalie clinic 3 years ago and also serves as a goalie coach for multiple youth hockey organizations in Central PA.
Padraig Carey Future Start Goalie Clinics
Paddy is from NJ and is entering his third year as an instructor with us. Paddy’s playing experience includes junior hockey as well as ACHA D1 collegiate hockey. As a coach, he has several years of experience working with The Goalie Academy and is also currently the Goalie Coach for the NCAA Lebanon Valley Dutchmen mens hockey team. Additionally, Paddy has served as a goalie coach for the Hershey JR. Bears youth hockey organization and as an assistant coach for the Jr. Bears Quebec team.
